2026 AHS Local Scholarship Application for High School Seniors (Open February)

The local scholarship are scholarships provided from community organizations. These providers like to see students from their community succeed and, therefore, offer scholarships only to Aptos High School seniors. There is one application and students will be considered for several of them. You will need to complete the application in one sitting. Your application cannot be saved to complete later. Read below for important information.

Scholarship Check List: To be considered for the local scholarship, the student must complete the application and a parent must submit the PVUSD Scholarship Statement of Income by March 3, 2026

Online Scholarship application: You will need the following information for the application before you begin: List of extracurricular activities, community service, and sports/ School and community awards and honors / Employment information/Personal Statement
- Note: The personal statement is an essay (about 500 words) that describes the student's academic and career objectives, goals, and aspirations. You may include the following:
  - What has shaped you as a person?
  - What are your educational and career goals?
  - Why have you chosen these goals?
  - How do you envision making a contribution to your community after you complete your education?
  - Have you experienced any special circumstances or unusual hardships that have influenced your choice of college study and/or carrer path or need for scholarships?

Online PVUSD Scholarship Statement of Income: A parent must fill out this form.

2026 AHS Local Scholarship Application and AHS PVUSD Scholarship Statement of Income deadline is Tuesday, March 3, 2026

Note: If the application or income statement form is not submitted, the student will not be eligible for the local scholarship.
