California Scholarship Federation (CSF)
The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is an Honor Society that recognizes students for academic achievement in high school.
Membership in CSF is through the Aptos High School chapter.
Students who meet the requirements apply for membership through a process including grades from the prior semester. Membership lasts for one semester and students must re-apply in the following semesters. Students are recognized for academic success with the CSF seal on their diploma and a CSF pin worn at graduation.
Life membership can be achieved by seniors who have been members for four of the prior six semesters of high school. Life members are recognized at graduation by wearing the CSF pin in addition to a gold honor cord and gold tassel.
To apply for membership, please log in to the AHS website: Click Counseling > California Scholarship Federation (CSF), and complete the Google Form application. (The link to the application is located at the top of the CSF page) Membership for grades received during the Fall 2022-2023 (August-December) semester is paid via the web store (located above the application, at the top of the CSF page) or at the AHS Finance Office. Once you have completed your membership application and paid the $7.50 membership dues, you will be current with your CSF dues.
