About Us
Aptos High School (AHS) opened in 1969 to serve the students in the surrounding communities of Aptos, Corralitos, and Watsonville. AHS currently serves approximately 1,500 students and is the northernmost comprehensive high school in Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD).
Aptos High School has a robust academic, athletic, arts, and activities program to foster all students' growth and development.

- Goal 1: Prepare all students to graduate from AHS ready to enter a career and college by increasing the percentage of students meeting content area standards and A-G eligibility.
- Goal 2: Identify and implement instructional strategies and interventions to increase academic performance for all students, including: students who receive Special Education services, English learners, long-term English learners, socio-economically disadvantages, and students in-transition.
- Goal 3: Maintain a safe educational and social-emotional environment that fosters a caring community where all students feel connect to and supported by peers and adults.
