THE BOOSTER CLUB MISSION STATEMENT

THE BOOSTER CLUB MISSION STATEMENT

We proudly follow our mission statement as declared in our bylaws.

"The purposes of this corporation shall be charitable and educational in supporting and enriching the curriculum and extra-curricular activities of the students of Aptos High School"
PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

Thanks for stopping by and visiting.  We're very excited about this year and the opportunity to work together to make an impact for the Aptos High School Community.

The Aptos High School Booster Club is a fully independent non-profit 501(c)3 established in 1970.  We are very proud to have continuously supported the students of Aptos High School, funding critical gaps in curriculum and extra curricular activities.  We support a cross-section of programs and initiatives including:
  • Academics
  • Arts
  • Athletics
  • Career & College Readiness
  • Clubs
  • Software/Technology

In addition to general business, we run and administer several fundraisers throughout the year:
  • Mariner Wear Sales (Year-Round)
  • Drive for Schools (September - October)
  • Support Empty Bowls/Second Harvest Food Bank Fundraiser
  • Plan and run Grad Night

We're very pleased to have a full board made up of wonderful parents just like you.  Most of us work full-time and volunteer to run the Booster Club.  It is critical for our on-going success to have additional members of the community participating in our monthly meetings, evaluating funding requests, providing sub-committee leadership and supporting and working together to foster a thriving organization.  We highly encourage you to get involved regardless of how much or how little time you have.  The Boosters coordinate volunteers, raise funds, provide information to parents and teachers and help provide a link between school and home.  Parent involvement is key to ensuring your child has a successful school year.  Beyond that, volunteering is a great way to counterbalance some of the challenges we face in the rest of our lives and feel some control of the world around us.

Additional ways to help and provide support:

Please reach out if you're interested in getting involved or making a donation.  Thanks for your support and please do help us and get involved.

Sincerely,
Maria Meade
