Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. 
There is no detention on Fridays.

REMINDER TO ALL MARINERS...All absences must be cleared within 72 hours.  Any absences not cleared by then will result in a unexcused absence.


  • SENIORS! Norcal Recognition Products will be here one last time to take your cap and gown orders. Have your packets ready TOMORROW during Tutorial and break. If you need a packet, please go to the main office or the ASB room E103.

  • The Empty Bowls Second Harvest Fundraiser is TONIGHT from 6-730 in the AHS cafeteria. For $20, you can get a bowl made by a ceramics student and have some soup prepared by our culinary arts students. All money raised goes to Second Harvest Foodbank. 

  • Attention Seniors: Did you earn an F in a course required for graduation? There will be a special Edgenuity credit recovery course offered over the winter break for seniors only. Please see your counselor this week for details. The deadline to sign up is Monday, November 25.

  • Attention Edgenuity Students who attend the after-school drop-in class: There is NO drop-in class this afternoon. Please plan accordingly. Also remember that there are only 4 more weeks to complete your courses.

  • If you joined red cross please come to our meetings mondays during lunch in E-206. We are beginning to prepare for our first blood drive which is February 28th. 

  • Students don’t forget that today at lunch in the quad you can donate a $1.00 to the Harvest Food Bank and receive a pacific cookie company cookie plus get closer to an ice cream party.

  • Congratulations to Alexandra Gonzales for earning First-Team All League honors in Girls' Golf this season. Congratulations also go to Rowan Bowyer and Malia Fort, who earned Second-Team honors, as well as to Kylie Nelson and Gisselle Goyette who both earned SCCAL honorable mention status. Way to go!

  • Hey Mariners! Don’t forget there is an FCA meeting this thursday at lunch in the weight room. This weeks speaker is Rigo Lopez, a Spanish Chaplain to the San Francisco Giants! Free Pizza & drinks will be provided.

  • Congrats to Lila and Rebecca Sampson! Today they are competing in CCS Tennis competition representing Aptos in Doubles Play!  Send them a text and give them a high five when you see them.

  • Susana Estrada and Ben Laughlin will be representing the Aptos Cross Country Team in the State Championship in Fresno!... The Varsity team will be making the trip next week!...Congrats to all the Cross Country team members who have helped push each other to get them there!Good luck to all of our Mariners in action this week!

  • The Football team will be competing in the second round of the CCS Division 3 playoffs Friday night at 7 pm at the number 1 seeded Kings Academy in Sunnyvale!...we will be sending a Rooter Bus to the football game on Friday afternoon.  Please see Mr Fox for a permission slip! Permission slips are due Friday morning at break!

  • Finally, our girls Volleyball team will be competing in the Nor Cal CIF Championship game tonight!!! They will be heading on the road to Tamalpais HS North of San Francisco for the 6 pm game!...

  • All rooter bus permission slips are to be turned into Mr. Fox by break this morning! Please see Mr. Fox with questions!





  • Need community service hours? Come to D-105 for Interact Club on Mondays at lunch, we have lots of community service opportunities and free snacks.

  • Want to help clean up your local environment? Join the Surfrider club, meetings are held on Mondays at lunch in Mr. Hueth's room D-107. Come help us beatify our community and get community service hours!

  • DRIVING & PARKING ON CAMPUS ALERT....... TICKETING IS IN EFFECT... Vehicles not adhering to all parking and driving regulations are subject to ticketing or towing!
  • ABSENCES MUST BE CLEARED WITHIN 72 HOURS, 5 unexcused absences equals 1 Saturday School. Be sure to check your attendance on a regular basis, if you have 5 or more unexcused absences just attend a Saturday School and sign in. Students are responsible for keeping track of their attendance.
