  • Good Morning, Mariners! This is Ms. Pughe welcoming you to the 2019-2020 school year! This year Aptos High celebrates our 50th anniversary! Happy Anniversary, Mariners! As you can see our campus is getting some much needed improvements to our roofs and buildings and our quad! We are an active construction site which means we all need to use common sense and walk throughout our campus with our focus on safety. Your Tutorial teacher will share slides with you regarding locations for you to hang out during break and lunch. They will also share information from the counseling dept. Mariners, this is going to be a GREAT year! We appreciate your patience and support as we prepare to have an ever MORE awesome campus...wait until you see the artist rendering of the quad improvements! Mariners, we're ALL IN, EVERYDAY!

  • Attention all PE and Weight Training students: Today, PE1 and PE2 students will meet your teachers in the Big Gym and Weight Training students will meet in the Weight Room. Your teachers will inform you where you will meet on Thursday and Friday.

  • All those interested in running cross country please show up to practice Monday-Friday at 3:15pm in the football bleachers.

  • Attention all AHS Students: Auditions for the first play of the year “Singin in the Rain” are coming right up! Please stop by the drama room (room t-100) in the PAC to pick up materials and sign up for an audition time. Auditions will take place August 26th and 27th. See Ms. Aronovici if you have any questions.

  • Girls Golf team, sign ups for new and returning players will be held this Friday, 8/16 in room E-208 @ lunch.

  • Congratulations to our ROV Seal Team and their faculty advisor, Mr. Manildi! The Seal Team competed in the 2019 MATE International ROV Competition - World Championships in Tennessee in June and won 1st in Mission, 1st in Marketing Display, and 1st place overall! They are now the INTERNATIONAL champions! AND The celebration continues! The team has been awarded Aptos Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Achievement Award! This award is reserved for individuals or groups who have accomplished something monumental, something significant that benefits our whole Aptos community. That is what OUR TEAM did. Their hard work, dedication, passion, innovation, and grit paid off and our community will celebrate them at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner on Friday, October 25th. Go Mariners!
