Are you aware DETENTION is held on
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. 
There is no detention on Fridays.

REMINDER TO ALL MARINERS...All absences must be cleared within 72 hours.  Any absences not cleared by then will result in a Saturday School. Call Attendance to clear at Ext. 5291

  • Mariners, the voting for your favorite promposal has started. Head over to the ASB instagram account @aptoshighschoolasb and cast your vote. Remember, you can only vote for one couple.

  • Seniors for those of you who are participating in Cabrillo Running Start. The Reg Readiness Workshops will take place tomorrow, Tuesday April 23rd in the Aptos High School Library. Please make sure to be on time for your scheduled workshop time.

  • Attention all students, Saturday School will be this Saturday April 20th from 9 am to 1pm.  Please check your attendance on School Loop and contact the Student Services Office if you have any questions.
  • Come see AHS Drama's Romeo and Juliet! Free Preview on April 17th & 18th. For more information, go to the AHS website and follow @aptoshighdrama on Instagram. See you at the show! 
  • Students the library is starting a library book club. If you are interested, see Cheryl in the library.  
  • All students that park on campus there are no more parking permits available, if you have not yet obtained a parking permit for this school year you can be added to a wait list by seeing Monica in the main office. Remember if you plan to park on campus you MUST HAVE a parking permit.
  • Seniors: If you are going to Cabrillo College after high school, sign up right away in the Library for a required Cabrillo Student Planning Workshop. The Workshop lets you participate in Cabrillo Running Start to register early for classes. See Cheryl Nickel in the Library to sign up right away! Once you have completed the steps for Running Start, you will get an email from Cabrillo with your registration time. Registration will happen in the Aptos High Library on May 9.
  • The City of Watsonville is accepting applications for the Summer in the City Internship Program. The internship opportunity is available to incoming Juniors & Seniors enrolled in any PVUSD High School. Program Details. 
  • CIMI Sign-Ups are on the AHS web page. The next CIMI meeting will be about deposits, payments, and scholarships. If you need help go to D208, Tuesday April 16 during lunch.
  • Congratulations to Hunter Matys on Saturday, at the top 8 meet in Los Gatos he set a new school record in the 100 meter dash 10.73 seconds, He also won the race and won the triple jump too.
  • Congrats to baseball player Luke Keaschall, he was selected as the Resgister-Pajaronion Athlete of the week.
  • Congrats to volleyball player Ethan Durns, he was selected as the Santa Cruz Sentinel Athlete of the week.
  • Attention all students: Bradley Home and School Club are hosting their Fling Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 20th from 11:00am - 3:00pm at Bradley Elementary School. There will be a lot of activities. Egg hunt is free! Wristbands are available for $15, this includes unlimites games, activities and 1 face painting.



  • Need community service hours? Come to D-105 for Interact Club on Mondays at lunch, we have lots of community service opportunities and free snacks.

  • Want to help clean up your local environment? Join the Surfrider club, meetings are held on Mondays at lunch in Mr. Hueth's room D-107. Come help us beatify our community and get community service hours!

  • ABSENCES MUST BE CLEARED WITHIN 72 HOURS, 5 unexcused absences equals 1 Saturday School. Be sure to check your attendance on a regular basis, if you have 5 or more unexcused absences just attend a Saturday School and sign in. Students are responsible for keeping track of their attendance.
