Are you DETENTION is held on
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. 
There is no detention on Fridays.

REMINDER TO ALL MARINERS...All absences must be cleared within 72 hours.  Any absences not cleared by then will result in a Saturday School. Call Attendance to clear at Ext. 5291

  • There will be an important meeting for Track & Field athletes at lunch in the weight room this Friday.
  • What's up Mariners! This Friday there is going to be another clothing drive. There will be candy for those who donate clothes!
  • Are you taking an off-campus class that is counting for graduation or A-G? All classes must be finished and official transcripts submitted to Ms. Silvia Sanchez before we go on break. If you need to register for the second semester, get proof of enrollment to your counselor as soon as possible. Please see your counselor for help!
  • The library Makers Space will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch until winter break to create holiday themed  Makey Makey projects. Open to everyone!
  • This is the last week to complete Edgenuity courses with just two more sessions. All classes must be finished by Thursday, December 13. Please see your counselor if you have any questions or need any help.
  • Winter Ball tickets are on sale at ASB in a Box during lunch today! Pick up your permission slips in the office, online or in the ASB classroom E-103.
  • Teen Peer Court is back! Teen Peer Court, run by teens for teens, is an important part of our local criminal justice system. We are having our first hearing in Santa Cruz next Wednesday, December 12th at 4pm at the Santa Cruz Courthouse, 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz



  • Need community service hours? Come to D-105 for Interact Club on Mondays at lunch, we have lots of community service opportunities.
  • Want to help clean up your local environment? Join the Surfrider club, meetings are help on Mondays at lunch in Mr. Hueth's room D-107. Come help us beatify our community and get community service hours!
  • Need community service hours? The Teen Kitchen Project is a nonprofit organization that brings young people into the kitchen to learn and cook delicious and nourishing food. The meals they prepare are delivered to individuals and families in our community who are living with life-threatening illnesses. For more information please ask at the front office.
  • The Santa Cruz Sheriff's office Youth Academy is now accepting applications, you will learn about law enforcement, criminal investigations, coroner investigations and much more! This is a great opportunity to get community service hours and clear up attendance and Saturday school issues. For more information ask at the front office or the SRO office.

  • DRIVING & PARKING ON CAMPUS ALERT....... TICKETING IS IN EFFECT... Vehicles not adhering to all parking and driving regulations are subject to ticketing or towing!
  • ABSENCES MUST BE CLEARED WITHIN 72 HOURS, 5 unexcused absences equals 1 Saturday School. Be sure to check your attendance on a regular basis, if you have 5 or more unexcused absences just attend a Saturday School and sign in. Students are responsible for keeping track of their attendance.
