The GSA meets Tuesdays at lunch
in
Room C-102
Advisor: Tracey Palmer tpalmer@aptoshs.net
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender,
questioning students/staff, and their allies are welcome!!
Our objective is to work towards ending homophobia and all forms of
intolerance in our school and to make our campus a welcoming, supportive, and
safe environment for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender
identity. Your freedom to be who you are is respected here. Your sexual
orientation, gender identity, race, religion, national origin, and physical
capabilities are all parts of who you are, and your freedom to be an individual
will be respected.
* The
GSA is a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues
related to sexual orientation, and work to end homophobia. *
If you are an Aptos High School
graduate, parent, or community member who would like to support
the Aptos High School GSA, please contact the club advisor Tracey
Palmer. Ways to help are: provide
decoration supplies for the homecoming float, fund contributions to send GSA
members to state and national conferences, publicity and advertising, and more!
