If you would like to work in the new theatre building, there are a variety of positions we need responsible, motivated student leaders to fill!
After a brief training, you will be able to work at our theatre arts events throughout, as well as concerts and other events in the new theatre, and gain community service hours, too.

TRAINED THEATRICAL LIGHTING PROFESSIONAL! Lighting Design, Installation &
Engineering: A nuts-and-bolts, hands-on workshop will take place
Saturday, October
4, from 9:30 to 5 and Sunday, October 5, from Noon to 4. Snacks and beverages
provided both days; lunch provided on Saturday. On board to help us learn is
AHS Drama alum and USC Lighting Design Grad Mason Barker, who just returned
from Designing for several shows at NY’s FASHION WEEK and is employed with a
lighting firm in
STAGE MANAGER/PRODUCTION MANAGER – These are the people who really run the show at each performance, whether a drama production, concert, lecture series, etc. They are in charge of the stage crew, organize the performers, keep the time for the show, and also “call” all of the light, sound and scenery moving cues. We will need backstage managers as well as a Production Stage Manager, who will call the shots from the booth, as well as coordinate starting times with the House Managers. Stage Managers also work closely with the director and producer during the rehearsal process.

MAKE UP (and Hair) – Join the team who carries out the designs of the Make up designer on the actors for our plays. Learn basic make up applications, as well as fantasy make up and special FX (later in the school year).
First training was Monday, September 15 – more TBA
FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGEMENT – Be a part of the leadership team in charge of supervising the running the lobby, ticket taking, ushers and concessions.
This is a VITAL job at any performance! You will work closely with the Production Stage Managers as well as Lighting and Sound personnel, and supervise volunteer students and parents.
