There are many ways to prevent viruses. One way is to make sure that your NAV Client is set for scanning a file everytime it is opened, this is one way to prevent a virus. It should be set to automatically scan the computer, it is known as "real time scanning". Scanning your computer periodically is not necessary, since Real Time Scanning is enabled, it would simplu be a waste of time.

Viruses are contracted through many different things ex: FTP, E-mail, Internet, File Transfer etc.. You should make sure that you have protection against them. Real Time virus scanning will not only help you, it will help ITAP and Tom.
