Course Description

  • U.S. Government AP (Semester)
    Grade Level: 12
    Prerequisite: Placement in class is competitive based on GPA and appreciation.
    The course is designed to give students a critical perspective on politics and government in the U.S. Students study general concepts used to interpret American politics analyze specific case studies. The course requires familiarity with the various institutions, groups, beliefs, and ideas that make up the American political reality. All students are required to take the AP Government and Politics Examination. Homework will average one (1) hour per night.
