Prerequisite: None.
This is a required senior course, which must be passed to qualify for graduation. Various forms of government are studied with the emphasis being the federal system of government in the U.S. Students explore the role of the ordinary citizen in our representative democracy and learn the numerous ways they can have an influence on governmental decisions. State and local government is investigated as well. Historical and current issues are studied and debated. Homework is required.
