| 3910 Health Prerequisite: None Grade Level: 9 - 12 (9th recommended) A State requirement for graduation, Health Education will study the human body, chemical dependencies, positive life-styles, self-esteem, decision making, reproduction and sexually transmitted diseases, infections, and genetic diseases. There will be homework assignments including 10 hours of community service. A variety of teaching strategies will be used, including guest speakers, group work, oral presentations, and independent reading and writing on a daily basis.
