Prerequisite: A grade of "B" or better in Algebra or IMP 1; concurrent enrollment in Geometry, IMP 2 or higher
Grade Level: 10 - 12
Energy is the primary topic in Physics. We study its different types, behavior, and some of its applications. These
include mechanics, heat, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, and nuclear energy. We also learn to apply mathematical analysis to quantify and understand these natural phenomena. This course meets the U.C. Laboratory Science requirement. Homework will be 30-60 minutes per day, four times per week.
