- ALGEBRA 1 (Year) Grade Level: 9-12 Prerequisite: Math A with a 'C' or better.
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of the language of mathematics including solving and graphing equations, rules of exponents, linear equations, quadratic functions, and polynomials. Much of the course work will look at the abstract relationships in algebra and algebraic manipulations. Some of the work will involve everyday applications. This course meets the requirements for a first year of college preparatory math.
