Course Description

 
  • ADVANCED ALGEBRA/TRIGONOMETRY (Year) Grade Level: 10-12 Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra 1 and Geometry with a 'C' or better. In this course, students will gain experience with algebraic solutions to problems in various concept areas, including the solution of systems of linear equations, quadratic equations, solutions for logarithmic and exponential functions, polynomial and rational functions and solutions involving the complex number system. The course will also investigate trigonometric ratios, functions, graphs, identities, and equations. This course meets college entrance requirements for a third year of college preparatory mathematics.
