Health Services at Aptos High School are provided through the Department of Special Services, Pajaro Valley Unified School District:  Carol Lankford, Director.  School Nurse Pat Christie, R.N., with Elsa Valdez (Monday-Thursday) are here to provide assessment of health related problems and referral to health services for students and staff. Elsa Valdez is currently on maternity leave.
Insurance application with Healthy Families can be facilitated. The California School Nurses Organization www.csno.org  has helpful information about many issues in school health.
