Rise Above

21 Days Of Kindness by AHS ROP Video Production

If you are interested in participating contact a Rise Above club member or see Ms. Silver in room E-204.

The Kindness Challenge will kick-off on Thursday, February 5 in lower quad at lunchtime.

During the Kindness Challenge the students, teachers, principals and staff whom have signed up will be asked to do 5 acts of
kindness every day for 21 days.

We are also excited to inform that the ROP Video Production class will be filming a documentary of the AHS 21 Day Kindness Challenge.

How 21 Days Works:

  • Everyone who has signed up will attend the Kick-Off and will receive a Kindness Wristband.
Additionally, participants will sign their name to a Kindness Promise.
  • Every day for 21 school days people will report acts of kindness (theirs and ones they have witnessed) on Twitter (#AHSKIND) OR they jot down acts of kindness (theirs or ones they have witnessed) and turn them in at lunchtime every day at the Rise Above Table in the quad.

Check back here for further details during the 21 Days!

Our club is dedicated to school unity by promoting awareness on several issues on our campus from bullying and harassment to many other common problems by sharing ideas and taking action towards creating a welcoming and inclusive environment here at Aptos High School.

Rise Above is also a great way to earn community service (optional) in many of our activities.

Everyone is welcome to join our club.
