Clubs

Why Join a Club at Aptos High?

Research shows that when young people are actively involved in school, they are more successful academically and socially and are more productive members of society.

At Aptos High, we encourage all students to participate in clubs or extracurricular activities. Fortunately, we have over 20 clubs on campus, so there is something interesting for everyone on campus!

If you don't see something interesting, consider creating your own club. Follow the directions under "How to Create a Club."

By being involved in one of the club on campus, you are given opportunities to enrich your learning experience outside of the traditional classroom.

How To Create A Club

Step 1: Come up with the idea for new club with your friends.

Step 2: Ask a faculty member to be your club's advisor.

Step 3: See Ms. Mendoza in E-103 for a club form.

Step 4: Fill out the form with your advisor.

Step 5: Return the completed form to Ms. Mendoza
