California Scholarship Federation

What Is CSF?

The California Scholarship Federation is a type of Honor Society that recognizes students for their academic achievement in high school.

Membership in CSF is through school chapters and Aptos High School has a local chapter! Each chapter is comprised of student members who meet eligibility requirements. Eligible students become members by submitting applications based on their report card grades from the previous semester. Membership is for one semester and student must re-apply to gain membership in following semesters. Students are recognized for their academic success by obtaining a special seal on their diplomas and a CSF pin to wear at graduation.

Life membership can be achieved by seniors who have been members for four of the last six semesters of high school. Life members are recognized at graduation by wearing their CSF pin in addition to a special stole and cord worn at graduation.

To apply to CSF please print the application from the AHS website or come by the Counseling Office to obtain an application.

All applications are due no later than 3pm on October 13th.

Students will find out if they qualify for membership by Tuesday October 17th.

If you have any questions, please see Ms. Mullins in the Counseling Office.
