Meeting Minutes from 10/2/07

Great meeting today everyone!  I'm so excited about our club!  I think it's important for us to see all we accomplished at the meeting, so here are my notes:

The T-shirts are HERE!!!!

We decided that t-shirts will cost $5.00 for members, $15.00 for non-members.  Our job, once we get the shirts, will be to ADVERTISE them.  I think lots of people will want them and we can easily order more.

Homecoming parade will be Oct 17th.  We will need to decide on music and decorations for the truck.  Butcher paper decorated is good with me, but you guys are in charge--go nuts!

We have some great fund-raising ideas.  Lanyards, bumper stickers, pins, car wash, and T-shirts.  Anyone with a concrete idea, like a particular bumper sticker or lanyard design, please introduce it at the next meeting.  Don't be shy!

This tutorial some of you will come to C102 to write a script for a video to be linked to the GSA website and for possibly showing to the student body.

We came up with some agreements for meeting in the room.  Those include:

Listen without judgment to others

No using "gay" as a put down or descriptive other than what it is

We would like everyone to be able to feel comfortable being him/herself

No one has to hide who they are in C102!

No talking to other people (those who were not at meeting) about what happens in C102

Please email me any other agreements you think are important and I will add them to the list for a run-down next Tuesday.

Next meeting we'll talk about fund-raising some more and finalize our "agreements."
